C.D.T.S is a  project of Destiny Vision Youths  working with the marginalised group in Kisumu, Kenya slums. The project uses sports as a tool to get access to the children and youths at the slums. The project brings youths and children from different slums, with different background and from different ethnic tribes together to have exchange and learn on life skills such us

 Our project pitch is “Play for Fun learn for life”. Our main stakeholders are the youths, students, Community Based Organizations, Local government, Media, NGOs and the general public.

PROFILE

Apart from our activities in Kenya we have partnered with different organization in the same field in 2009 we partnered with Esperance from Rwanda who do football for peace on a peace caravan caravanamani which went to different part of East Africa countries promoting peace and football.We were also part of the 2010 Caravanamani which started in Berlin,Germany coming down to Africa and again hosted it in Kisumu,Kenya.In May 2010 we were part of Strong Youth Strong Africa programme in Kigali Rwanda which brought different youth organizations that uses football as a tool among them being Play soccer (Ghana),Esperance (Rwanda),HODI(Kenya), DVYG(Kenya) and others from Congo,Burundi and Uganda.We are also partnering with Coachitnetwork to help in lifeskills training in their project learning centers.We also work closely with the Ministry of youth and sports in Kenya among others.
